PistonSeq is a free app for those who play the pipe organ, allowing them to track usage of registration aids such as combinations/pistons and sequencers.
In addition to the usual complement of divisional and general pistons, larger organs are often equipped with multiple channels of memory, and frequently a sequencer also. It is easy to lose track of which pieces of music are registered using which memory channels; and the problem becomes worse when several people are playing the same organ regularly.
PistonSeq allows you to record the pistons, memory channels and sequencer positions in use; it also tracks who recorded what, so that you can avoid overwriting someone else's registration.
PistonSeq is free for anyone to use.
PistonSeq is built and maintained by Ray O'Donnell, Director of Music at Galway Cathedral. Server space is generously provided by Tela Design Ltd. It is presented as-is, with no warranty offered or implied.
